Shrenuj Q2 Sales +67.8% to $105 M; Profits +5.81% to $1.62 M

(IDEX Online News) – DTC Sightholder Shrenuj & Company reported second quarter net sales of $105 million (Rs.5.33 billion), up 67.8 percent from the $62.6 million (Rs.3.18 billion) for the same period in fiscal 2010-11.

Profits for the same period were $1.6 million (Rs.82 million) up 5.8 percent from the $1.53 million (Rs.77.5 million) a year ago.

Net sales for the first half of the fiscal year, ending September 30, were $201 million (Rs.10.2 billion), up 67.1 percent from the $120 million (Rs.6.1 billion) in the previous fiscal year. Profits for this period were $3.6 million (Rs.183.45 million), up a healthy 29.9 percent over the $2.8 million (Rs.141.2 million) in the previous fiscal year.
