WDC Meeting to Celebrate 5 Years of Kimberley Process

The sixth annual meeting of the World Diamond Council, the international body charged with coordinating the diamond and jewelry industry’s campaign against conflict diamonds, will be held in Antwerp June 30-July 1. The event will be hosted by the Antwerp World Diamond Centre.

 

The theme of the council meeting will be “Celebrating Five Years into the Kimberley Process.”

 

The World Diamond Council was created in Antwerp in 2000, at the World Diamond Congress of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and the International Manufacturers Association.
