Popular as ever, stars continued to add a bit more sparkle with the help of diamonds. This year’s Emmy Awards saw classic and long diamond earrings, diamond bracelets and large diamond rings. Making its red carpet debut was the just launched De Beers generic diamond jewelry line Everlon Diamond Knot. Everlon is part of the diamond miner’s holiday sales effort.
"Breaking Bad" actress, Anna Gunn, chose Everlon Diamond Knot Collection earrings, a four-row diamond bracelet and a marquise diamond ring, all designed by Martin Katz. Blake Lively, who appears on the CW show, "Gossip Girl," matched her bold and modern red dress with jewelry set to best show off the diamonds in them.
In total weight, Lively wore 22 carats in diamonds, these included large diamond stud earrings and a large marquise-cut diamond ring set with a minimal amount of metal to better show them off. She also wore a large bracelet with arches as the main geometric motif, all pieces were by Lorraine Schwartz.
Leading ladies of "Mad Men" matched their on-screen glamour with jewelry featuring diamonds; two examples of the more classic choices came from January Jones and Elizabeth Moss. Jones picked Neil Lane jewelry, which included diamond drop earrings and diamond leaf bracelet, Moss picked cushion cut diamond drop and diamond bracelets from Chopard.
A more modern line was adopted by "Dexter" actress, Jennifer Carpenter who brought attention to her hands with a 41.45 carat black diamond ring designed by Martin Katz. "The Office" alum, Melora Hardin picked a 20 carat yellow and white diamond starburst ring by Chopard.
