NY Fashion Week: New York Rocks to Jewelry Beat

Take some Frank Sinatra to a hip-hop beat, mix it with some pumped up Vivaldi, lay down a catwalk in New York's Public Library, fill the hall with NBA's finest and a sprinkling of celebs, turn down the lights and bring out the jewels. It's Fashion Week in New York and last night was the turn of LA jeweler Chris Aire to once again show the hippest bling in the City.

More than 300 pieces valued at an estimated $250 million were on display last night - the show stopper being an incredible dress constructed entirely of Red Gold set with 5,500 diamonds totaling an incredible 3,496 carats. Yours for the taking for approximately $41.4 million.

Supermodel Tyson Beckford walked the walk bedecked in Aire's signature Bike Chain. The necklace, containing 62 5 carat Ascher-cut diamonds, caught the eye of many of the evening's A-list celebs who weren't apparently hesitant over the $12.5 million tag.
