Leviev, the new high end retail diamond jewelry effort by Lev Leviev, have opened a flagship boutique at 31 Old Bond Street in London. The first two floors of the five-storey listed building have been transformed into an 80 meter boutique. The rest of the building will become the company's UK headquarters.

The style of the store is clean and modern, furnished with rare antiques. It has a bronze and glass fa?ade that bears the Leviev logo engraved in platinum leaf. The boutique uses a color palette of ivory, mink, and platinum tones accented with bronze.

"We are thrilled to open our first flagship store in London, which is in many ways the diamond capital of the world, and certainly one of the most vibrant international cities today," commented diamond tycoon Lev Leviev.

Shortly after the opening of the London store, Leviev will start construction on its New York flagship store, located in the company's headquarters building on Madison Avenue at 62nd Street, with an opening slated for August 2006.
