Pam Mortensen Appointed JCPenney’s Senior VP Fine Jewelry

J. C. Penney Company announced the appointment of Pam Mortensen as senior vice president and general merchandise manager of Fine Jewelry, effective July 27. She succeeds Beryl Raff who left in April to head Helzberg Diamond Shops.

Mortensen comes to JCPenney from Wal-Mart Stores, where she served as vice president and divisional merchandise manager of their Fine Jewelry and Watch division.

Prior to her role at Wal-Mart, Mortensen spent 12 years as a senior buyer at Bailey, Banks, and Biddle with responsibility for bridal, fashion jewelry and watches.
