Cricket Star Launches Sheetal Jewelry Collection

Australian cricket star Justin Langer was the star of the show at the unveiling of a Champagne Diamond jewelry collection created by Indian Sightholder Sheetal Group using diamonds from the Argyle mines in Western Australian.

Langer, a member of the touring Australian cricket team currently locked in battle with India, launched the ‘Bulaire’ champagne diamond collection today (Wednesday).

An instant hit in cricket-mad India, Langer said he recently visited Argyle’s mines, and just hours earlier had been shown champagne diamonds for the first time.

Sheetal’s Ajay Kakadia said, “We are bringing to India the latest in international fashion trends, which is jewelry containing diamonds in the shades of chocolate, champagne and cognac. ‘Show it in color’ is our theme.”

The Bulaire collection includes pendants, rings, earrings and bracelets and will be sold exclusively at Kiah stores.

Argyle’s mines produce a range of colored diamonds, including pink, champagne and cognac and, on rare occasions, blue and other exceptional colors.
