Gold and Diamonds Make the Most Precious Armband

After four months in the making, Ishi's, a division of DTC Sightholder Suashish Diamonds, have unveiled what they call 'The Ishi's Most Precious Armband in the Universe'. The band, designed in four shades of 18 carat gold, totaling a kilogram of gold in all, and studded with 10,000 diamonds, is priced at $1 million.

The armband, which depicts the path of love, is designed in the shape of a vine and runs the entire length of the arm. It begins at the left ring finger, to mark the birth of a relationship, with small, spaced out leaves on two separate veins denoting two individual lives. As the relationship progresses, the vines grow sturdier until they intertwine over the heart, where they form one large flower. Four hearts, made from diamond studded white gold, support the vine from the shoulder.

Says Marzin R Shroff, CEO, Ishi’s “Our research indicated that women treasure their engagement and wedding rings for their symbolism. The experiences on the road to love are precious and these experiences get symbolized in the ring on the left hand.”

Ishi's also created 'the world's most expensive tie' and the most expensive waist band. The tie was made from pure silk and 150 grams of white gold. The two kilogram waist band consisted of 8,000 diamonds on strings of 18 carat gold chains. 

Ishi's has 80 outlets spread over 25 cities in India.
