IDEX Online Poll: Great Sales Staff, Key to Repeat Traffic

Repeat traffic gives retailers one of their best sources of consumers. They know the store already, and find it to be a good place to make a purchase. A key question is how to ensure that a first time buyer becomes a repeat customer. According to our online survey, a great sales staff is one of the best ways to do it.
37 percent of respondents to IDEX Online’s poll said “my great sales staff” is ‘the one thing that drives most repeat traffic to my store.’
20 percent said “good pricing”, and another 20 percent responded “The right product mix”.
17 percent of our respondents noted “continued advertising” as the main driver of repeat traffic, while only 6 percent said “convenient store location.”
