HRD Diamond Jewelry Awards to Take Place June 13

The 2007 HRD Awards competition is moving up to the next round, after 38 finished jewelry pieces were presented on May 9 to an international jury for final judging.

The jury has selected 44 designers to enter the round after 698 designers submitted 1092 drawings for the awards, which was based on the theme of ‘A Night at the Opera’.

The jury will select five finalists and announce them at the award ceremony in Antwerp scheduled for June 13. One of them will be declared the winner and awarded €5,000.

The biennial HRD Awards contest was launched in 1984, aiming to enhance creativity and design excellence in contemporary diamond jewelry in Belgium.
