ICA Announces Poster Contest Winners

The winners of the International Colored Gemstone Association’s (ICA) fourth annual poster contest were chosen during the organization’s 12th biennial congress in Dubai. One hundred and ten posters from 22 countries were on display during the Congress, where participants and guests voted for their favorite designs.

The winning posters were:

First Prize $1,500: GO COLOR - Fruits and Gemstones

Second Prize $750: PLAY WITH COLORS

Designer: Priyanka Sharma, India

Third Prize $250: MAGIC OF COLORS

Designer: Hemant Baweja , India

A citation was awarded to:

COLOR…AS PRECIOUS AS LIFE

Designer: Ambarine Bukharey, Pakistan

Yehuda Kassif, poster contest founder and organizer, said the concept behind the competition is to look for new and creative ideas to promote colored gemstones. The contest also illustrates a global outlook on color. “There are no borders and boundaries when it comes to the basic need of the human being to decorate himself,” he said.
