The Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) and the International Coloured Gemstone Association (ICA) have signed an agreement to establish a Dubai-based facility for ICA members and trade representatives in Dubai, the greater Middle East and overseas.
The ICA GemBureau Middle East, like other centers the ICA has set up in Germany and Thailand, will provide ICA members with information, knowledge and expertise about colored gemstones, as well as fully equipped business center facilities, administrative staff and promotional support.
Specifically established to serve the region, GemBureau Middle East will be the representative office for the ICA in the region and will serve as the central point of access for all matters related to the organization.
The agreement was signed by ICA president Andrew Cody and DMCC’s executive director, Coloured Stones and Pearls Gaiti Rabbani.
