Endiama Among First Companies to List on Angolan Exchange

Angola’s government-owned diamond firm Endiama will be among the first 27 companies to be listed on
A date has yet to be announced for the exchange’s opening, however it’s expected to launch in the first quarter of 2008.
According to a report by Angola Press Agency, the value of the listings is about $16 million. Among the listing firms are oil company Sonangol, insurance corporation Ensa and a number of banks.
By law, Endiama is a partner in every diamond mining and exploration initiative in the African country and is not required to invest any funds in these partnerships.
