IDI to Sponsor Jovella Jewelry Exhibition in Tel Aviv

The Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) will sponsor Jovella, the international jewelry exhibition held annually in Tel Aviv, Israel. Jovella 2008 will be held from July 1 – 3, 2008 at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds.

The exhibition is supported by a large number of institutions, including the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor's Administration of Diamonds, Precious Stones and Jewelry; the Israel Jewelry Manufacturers Association and the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute.

IDI is sponsoring the exhibition as part of its strategy of enhancing cooperation between the diamond and jewelry industries in Israel.

Jovella will feature some 200 exhibitors and will include watches and pens in addition to jewelry. About 12,000 visitors are expected to attend the three day event, including 300 buyers from abroad.

“This exhibition has proven to be an excellent showcase for the superb creativity and craftsmanship of Israel's jewelry designers and manufacturers,” said Moti Ganz, Chairman of the IDI Group of Companies. “We hope that our involvement will promote the show in global markets and further business opportunities for both Israel's diamond and jewelry industries.”

Jovella will feature an Israeli Designers Avenue. The country’s jewelry is renowned for its creative designs, up-to-date fashions and excellent quality.

A Gala Dinner is scheduled to be held during the show, which will feature a jewelry fashion show, and a seminar program is being planned.
