Hackman Elected AGTA President

Benjamin Hackman of Intercolor USA was elected president of the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA). Association members voted for seven officers for the AGTA board of directors. The new officers will serve three-year terms.

In addition to Hackman, Kambiz Sabouri of Gem 2000 was elected vice president, John Bachman of John M. Bachman, secretary and Sampat Poddar of Byrex Gems treasurer

To the post of director were elected Ruben Bindra, B & B Fine Gems, Ron Ringsrud, Ronald Ringsrud Co; and Ambrish Sethi, Manak Jewels.
