IGI to Offer On-site Certification at HK Fair

IGI will have a working laboratory at the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, from September 21-25. This is the first time the grading lab will operate at the Hong Kong show.

IGI’s lab will be located at the Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC) pavilion at the AWE airport venue, together with all the diamantaires. The lab will be equipped with a master set of diamonds, microscopes, DiamondSure, and other relevant instruments and tools.

The decision to incorporate a lab at this year’s fair was based on the successful lab booth trials conducted at BaselWorld 2009 and last month’s Indian International Jewellery Show (IIJS) in Mumbai.
