Jewelers of America Partners with Payment Processing Firm

Jewelers of America (JA), a U.S. trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry retail marketplace, announced Thursday that it has partnered with Tru, a firm specializing in payment processing.

The partnership will provide members of the JA with the lowest rates on their credit/debit card processing, zero installation and registration fees and the newest card processing software for free.

Additional benefits resulting from the partnership are an increase in customers’ payment options, as all major and private-label credit cards are accepted, and the option to purchase custom gift cards.

This new alliance with Jewelers of America gives Tru even more negotiating power with these processors, so Tru can pass along even deeper discounts and better services for jewelers across the country,” said Matthew Focht, president and founder of Tru.
