Sotheby’s London Sale Totals Over $3 Million

A diamond ring, pendent and necklace, were sold for £33,650 ($54,732). The Sotheby’s sale brought in a total of £1.9 million ($3.07 million) in sales.
The necklace, a 1930s design by Cartier, features a series of interlocking articulated swags each centering on a stylized palmette motif, set with circular-, single- and rose-cut diamonds, to a detachable snake link chain. Its pre-sale estimate was £12,000—£18,000 ($19,518 - $29,277).
The ring, titled ‘Property of a Lady,’ has a brilliant-cut brown tint diamond weighing 7.65 carats, centered between near-colorless pear-shaped diamonds. It fell within its pre-sale estimate of £25,000—£35000 ($40, 662.5 - $56,927.5)
The pendant is set with an 8-carat round-cut diamond, surrounded by brilliant-cut stones. The jewel slightly exceeded its pre-sale estimate of £20,000—£30,000 ($32,530 - $48,795).
