Israeli Jewelry Exhibition Expected to Attract International Buyers

The Jovella jewelry exhibition will be held July 6-7 at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds. The trade show, a showcase of Israeli jewelry makers, is expected to attract hundreds of buyers from abroad, according to the organizers.
Jovella will feature about 150 exhibitors from Israel and abroad and feature a wide range of jewelry as well as Kabbalah jewelry, Judaica and watches. In addition, there will be a section devoted to jewelry services and technologies.
This year there will be a special section featuring young Israeli jewelry designers who will be showing gold, silver and diamond jewelry. They will be chosen according to the originality and quality of their designs.
In 2009, Israel exported $300 million worth of jewelry, mostly to the U.S. In addition, Israel’s jewelry is exported to Russia, UK, Hong Kong, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Spain, France, Japan and other locations.
