Ketan Brothers to Offer Inventory Access via Blackberry Diamond App

In a bid to help their clients track their orders even when on they are out of the office, Mumbai-based Ketan Brothers Diamondz Exports (KB) will release a Blackberry application at IIJS 2010, Mumbai.

Users can view a complete inventory list, place orders, get detailed information on the diamonds they are interested in and review order history. Other features include diamond industry news and inventory updates.

“Blackberry, as a medium, is just the beginning of our mobile endeavor," said Ketan Brothers Partner Apurva Kothari. "With iPhone and iPad platforms available, we will be exploring their paths shortly too. All our efforts are orchestrated such that our clients have direct access to our diamonds at all times.”

The app, which was created by Centerac India Pvt. Ltd., is the first such tool in the diamond industry, the company states.

Ketan Brothers' clients can pre-register for the application at their website before August 23 for a chance to win a free customized Blackberry. The application will be available for download after IIJS.
