Lights, Camera, and... Diamonds! The Glitter at the 83rd Oscars

Every media channel echoes and amplifies the buzz generated ahead of the Oscar’s, and as soon as the first Hollywood foot lends on the red carpet, PR announcements fly out to notify the press of the stars’ garb. So, without any further ado, here is a list of what diamond jewelry adorned on the carpet.

The popular diamond jewelry items, according to Diamond Information Center, the De Beers marketing arm promoting the Forevermark brand, were simple diamond drops, statement diamond cluster earrings and classic diamond studs.

Melissa Leo won her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress wearing Jay Carlile for Forevermark diamond drop earrings, 2.05 carats total weight, set in rose gold paired with Forevermark diamond flower ring, set in rose gold. 

Fellow nominee for Best Supporting Actress, Jacki Weaver was seen wearing a pair of William Goldberg for Forevermark Oprah diamond drop earrings paired with 21 carat William Goldberg for Forevermark Aero bracelet.

Carie Lemack, nominee for Best Documentary Short for Killing in the Name, wore Jay Carlile for Forevermark cascade diamond earrings, Jay Carlile for Forevermark pave diamond bangle and Jay Carlile for Forevermark Fancy Diamond Cuff.

Producer Emma Thomas, nominated for Best Motion Picture for Inception, wore Forevermark Diamond Vine necklace, earrings and bracelet.

Hayley Bridges, daughter of Best Actor Nominee Jeff Bridges, wore Forevermark diamond chandelier earrings.

Kelly Osbourne reported on the event wearing 10-carat Forevermark diamond studs, Forevermark Mesh diamond bracelet, Forevermark diamond deco bracelet and Forevermark diamond flower ring.

Mallika Sherawat wore Forevermark diamond teardrop earrings with 70 carats of diamonds.

Jeremy Renner, nominated for his performance as Best Supporting Actor, walked the red carpet wearing black enamel and white agate necklace in yellow gold, platinum, and diamonds by David Webb,.
