Man Arrested over Jewelry Store Gun Ordeal

(IDEX Online) - A man who is alleged to have pointed a gun at the head of jewelry store manager has been arrested in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
Moments earlier the man, identified by police as Joshua Calvo, aged 40, was reportedly seen slipping a $8,900 pendant in his sleeve.
Staff at Swarovski Jewelers locked the doors to prevent him leaving, at which point he is accused of producing a handgun, pointing it at the manager's head and threatening employees.
One staff member managed to disarm him and throw him to the ground.
Metro Nashville Police Department said Calvo had been charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, theft of merchandise, theft of a firearm, and drug possession.
