(IDEX Online) - Four masked raiders fled with goods valued at over $2m after smashing display cases at a jewelry store in West Seattle, USA.
They threatened staff and customer at Menashe and Sons Jewelers with bear spray and a taser, although nobody was hurt in the incident.
"One of the glass jewelry displays contained $700,000 to $800,000 in Rolex watches," according to a report by an officer at the Seattle Police Department.
"Another contained an emerald necklace valued at $125,000, and a platinum diamond. Two other display cases contained a large amount of gold jewelry."
The raiders were inside the store for just 90 seconds, after forcing open the front door with ana axe.
"I don't want this to happen to anyone else," owner Josh Menashe, who was there at the time of the raid, told KIRO Newsradio.
"The violation you feel from the robbery, the shock — you want to run. You want to hide.
"You feel very violated. We're all rallying together and we're going to be stronger in the long run."
