LVMH Watch and Jewelry Revenue Slips
April 16, 26
(IDEX Online) - LVMH said reported revenue for its watches and jewelry division slipped by 2% in the first quarter of 2026, reflecting currency and other external factors.
But on a like-for-like basis, the underlying business performed well, with the highest organic growth (+7%) of all LVMH divisions.
Tiffany achieved an "excellent performance," the company said in its quarterly update, published on Monday (13 April), as it renovated more stores and launched a marketing campaign fronted by Natalie Portman.
Total watch and jewelry sales for the quarter were EUR 2.44 billion (USD 2.87 billion). LVMH does not provide figures for individual maisons.
Overall revenue across all divisions fell 6%, partly due to the war in the Middle East, the company said, although organic growth remained just about positive at +1%.
The company said: "Amid a geopolitical and economic environment particularly disrupted by the conflict in the Middle East, LVMH remains vigilant yet confident at the start of the year."
