Jewelers for Children Announces 2027 Facets Honorees
October 22, 26
PRESS RELEASE Jewelers for Children (JFC) is proud to recognize Sarin Bachmann, Senior Vice President of RX's jewelry portfolio (JCK, JCK Magazine, Luxury, JIS), and Julie Walsh, Senior Vice President of Center Core and Beauty at Macy's, as honorees at the organization's 28th annual Facets fundraising event, taking place Sunday, June 6, 2027, at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. Facets is the jewelry industry's night of connection, networking and celebration, and the only industry event supporting children in need all over the globe. Facets brings together more than 800 jewelry industry leaders for an evening of celebration and philanthropy. JFC has donated more than $67 million to nine nonprofit partners, all dedicated to improving the lives of children in need. The celebratory evening opens with a cocktail reception and moves into a program featuring a presentation from a child who has benefited from JFC funding sharing stories of joy and triumph. Bachmann and Walsh will be recognized during the program, and an auction and walking dinner round out the night. This year, guests will hear from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, JFC's newest nonprofit partner, about the children now thriving thanks to the support of the jewelry industry and JFC's eight other partners. "We are proud to have two incredible honorees for 2027. Sarin and Julie exemplify the JFC values of integrity, kindness and philanthropy," said Craig Stern, Board Chair of Jewelers for Children and CEO of Rogers Enterprises. "The impact both RX and Macy's have had on our industry, and their dedication to supporting those in need, make them incredibly deserving honorees. As we celebrate over $1.9 million donated to our nonprofit partners last year, we look forward to more success in 2027." Sarin Bachmann is Senior Vice President of RX's jewelry portfolio and a member of RX US's senior leadership team. Bachmann's commitment to the jewelry industry extends far beyond the events she leads. She chairs the JCK Industry Fund Committee, which helps support organizations working to strengthen the industry through education, workforce development, security, inclusion and sustainability. Bachmann serves on the executive boards of Diamonds Do Good, Jewelers' Security Alliance, the 24 Karat Club of New York, as well as the GEM Awards Committee. She previously served on the boards of the American Gem Society, Jewelers for Children, and the Women's Jewelry Association. She oversees JCK, Luxury, and JIS events, along with the JCK brand's print and digital publications, JCK Magazine and JCKOnline. Working with the event leaders and their teams, she guides the strategy and growth of a portfolio that serves retailers, designers, manufacturers, brands, and other professionals across the jewelry industry. Across the portfolio, Bachmann has focused on raising the bar of the shows each year: strengthening the customer experience, building the show energy, expanding education and industry partnerships, and creating new opportunities for exhibitors and buyers. During Bachmann's tenure, JCK and Luxury have achieved record levels of exhibitor and attendee satisfaction, loyalty, and Net Promoter Scores. More recently, that work includes the launch of Timepieces at Luxury and JCK, a dedicated destination in North America for the watch industry. Bachmann has helped build JCK into an award-winning event and the most important global gathering for the jewelry industry. In 2022, JCK received Trade Show Executive's Gold 100 Grand Award for Greatest Trade Show. She has also guided Luxury's transformation into an elevated, curated event for the high-end jewelry community, and under her oversight, the JIS Event portfolio has seen its largest growth since RX acquired the brand. She chairs the JCK Industry Fund Committee, which helps support organizations working to strengthen the industry through education, workforce development, security, inclusion and sustainability. Since its inception in 1997, the Fund has awarded more than $8 million in grants. Through these roles, she works with leaders across the trade on issues that matter to its long-term health. Jewelers for Children remains a cause Bachmann champions beyond her board service. She has deepened JCK's partnership with the organization, increased marketing support and visibility for its Facets gala, and connected JCK Rocks talent with ways to give back. She values the jewelry industry's ability to come together to make a difference for children and families. Before her career in events, Bachmann worked as a process design consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). She later became a Six Sigma-certified Master Black Belt at General Electric's NBC business. There, she also served as director of e-business for NBC's Broadcast and Network Operations Division.
