Dimexon Wins SAP Ace 2007 Award

Dimexon Diamonds Ltd, an India based diamond manufacturer and exporter, was the winner of the SAP Ace 2007 award for the Best Gem & Jewellery Sector Implementation (Large Enterprises category).

The award felicitates the most outstanding companies across India who implemented SAP projects in 2006 and early 2007, with the winners being chosen based on multiple parameters. Some of these include adherence to project schedules, return on investment, unique features or innovations in the project, specific business impacts and critical success factors of the project.

Thirty-eight companies across different sectors received awards.

Dimexon successfully completed the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 version across India with the global rollout covering its offices in Dubai, Hong Kong and China going live in the early part of this year.

Rajiv Mehta, CEO Dimexon says, “For us technology and best practices are key business drivers and enable business efficiencies. Implementation of the SAP ERP will help us rationalize costs, enhance customer service, improve productivity and streamline workflow and working capital management.”

The company also has plans to roll out Phase 2 of the implementation shortly which would bring in elements of advanced intelligence in data analysis and summation.
