GIA and HRD Antwerp Offer Lab Services at HK International Jewellery Show

HRD Antwerp will be among the 55 Antwerp-based diamond companies exhibiting at the Hong Kong International Show opening this Friday, the diamond lab announced Monday. HRD Antwerp will offer clients at the show the option to have their certified diamonds placed in a special safety seal.

HRD Antwerp has been developing its sealing services, having produced a sealing device that is tamper-proof with three safety mechanisms to ensure that once the package has been opened it cannot be resealed.

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) will offer its diamond and colored stone services at its Show Service Laboratory during the upcoming show as well. The GIA will have some of its senior gem experts on-hand to provide reports for any trade show participants that need “to conduct business quickly, accurately and conveniently” during the show.
