We all know weddings are expensive affairs, but how many fathers of the bride would be willing to pay some $300,000 for their daughter’s dream dress? Apparently one Brooklyn dad is. Anthony La Bate for Francesca Couture has been charged with the task to design what is most likely the most expensive wedding gown ever worn in the U.S.
The bride (whose name remains a mystery) has commissioned a dress encrusted with 1,100 diamonds and 3,000 Swarovski crystals. The wedding, scheduled to take place in a few months, will definitely be one in which no guest will out sparkle this bejeweled bride.
