D’damas, Gemplus Jewellery Launching Indian Jewelry Collection

Dubai jewelry retailer D’damas and Indian jewelry maker Gemplus Jewellery have signed a joint venture agreement to launch a collection of diamond jewelry in India.
The companies aim within 18 months to be selling the jewelry through 400 retail outlets.
D’damas is a joint venture between Dubai-based Damas and Digico Group with a turnover of more than $2 billion.
Gemplus Jewellery sells its goods to wholesalers, retailers and chain stores in the United States, Japan, Europe and countries in the Middle East.
