JA NY Summer Show: Day Two, as Good as Day One
August 01, 06
By all accounts, exhibitors and attendees alike seem to agree that this year's JA NY Summer Show, despite expectations to the contrary, is a resounding success - and it is only at the half way mark.

The show crowd has been extremely responsive to this year's JA Seminar line-up. Today's educational themed seminars, entitled 'A Dazzling Day of Diamond Education,' brought standing room only crowds to listen to a host of knowledgeable specialists. These experts spoke on topics including combining romance and technology to support diamond selling, and the value and usefulness of understanding diamond grading reports in today's retail sales environment.
Janice Winter of Judith Ripka, speaking from the company's booth in the Couture Club & Pavilion within the Galleria, put it simply, "Yesterday and today, we're as busy as can be! Lots, and lots, of traffic. We're seeing old clients and making some new ones too. The show's been good for us; so far and most of all, in the number of people we're seeing come by. It's a regional show, but it's strong on people. That's good for business."
There is a positive vibe here at JA. For an industry beset by so many woes, this is truly welcome news.
