Kristall Launches Online Polished Diamond Store

Russian diamond polisher Kristall of Smolensk has launched an online polished diamonds store where wholesalers, retailers, and private buyers can purchase their goods.

The new web site, www.kristallsmolensk.ru, which is currently available only in Russian, offers a broad assortment of diamond from pointers to 4 carat stones.  Wholesalers and retailers can order parcels from the site, which offers retailers the option of holding their diamonds on reserve until they have a client for the goods.

Private buyers who purchase individual stones can have them delivered for pickup at various locations in Russia.

State owned Kristall, the first and only Russian Diamond Trading Company (DTC) Sightholder, employs approximately 3,000 people. In 2005, the company's sales increased 11.19 percent to $347 million. Kristall has sales offices in Belgium, Hong Kong, Israel, the U.S., and the UAE.
