Dhamani Launches Dubai Cut Jewelry Line

December 28, 06 by A Jewelbiz India Report

Dubai-based Dhamani Jewels DMCC, the sole distributor of the 99-faceted Dubai Cut diamond, has introduced a line of jewelry inspired by the shape of the letter “D”. Every piece is set with Dubai Cut diamonds.

DMCC unveiled the Dubai Cut in late-2005, as the world’s first diamond cut inspired and named after a city. It is also inspired by the 99 holy names of Allah. The unique cut is produced solely by DTC Sightholder Kristall Corporation of Russia exclusively for DMCC under a legal patent.

According to Amit Dhamani, Managing Director of Dhamani Jewels, the distinguishing design of the collection makes it possible for people to identify the jewelry as one made with the unique Dubai cut even from a distance.

The range includes lines for men and women. Dhamani has worked over the last six months with several of the world’s leading jewelry designers and craftsmen to develop this range. New collections will be presented twice a year.

Jewelry using classical designs as well as custom made pieces using the Dubai Cut diamond, and loose Dubai cut diamonds from half a carat upwards, are also available.

Initially, the Dubai Cut diamond jewelry will only be for sale in Dubai.
