AGS Labs Launches Online Report Verification

AGS Laboratories yesterday announced the launch of Report Verification, a new feature that allows visitors to verify a diamond grading report online. Although it is mainly targeted at consumers, anyone with an AGS Laboratories diamond grading document can access and use Report Verification.

“We wanted to make it easier for consumers to verify their AGS Laboratories’ Diamond Grading Documents,” said Peter Yantzer, executive director of AGS Laboratories. “Our founding tenet is consumer protection and we are always looking for new ways to increase consumer confidence. The ability to verify their AGS Laboratories Diamond Grading Document is just one way that we can help them.”

Visitors to www.agslab.com can access this new feature from the home page. To verify a report, a user will need an AGS Laboratories report number and the carat weight. Once that data is entered, a pop-up window will appear, indicating the grading analysis for the diamond, which users can print for their records.
