WGI Appoints First Chairman for Chinese Region

The World Gemological Institute (WGI) appointed Rafael Aharoni as the institute’s first chairman for Aharoni, whose family has been in the diamond business for four generations, is a Hong Kong-based diamond professional and honorary chairman of the Gemological Association of Sichuan, PRC, as well as senior advisor to the Asian Institute of Gemological Science.
