IGI to Introduce Multimedia Jewelry Box

The International Gemological Institute (IGI) recently announced plans to unveil its IGI Love View Box, a customized box with an internal personalized LCD screen that can display pictures, play video and audio/music. The box also includes a credit card size IGI Diamond/Gemstone Certification Report.

The media files can be downloaded directly through a USB port from a personal computer, and the box’s design features a wood-like finish. IGI comments that “it’s a high-tech, though emotionally appealing, way to deliver a message both visually and audibly.”

Additional features of the IGI Love View Box include a calendar and a recording mechanism, which allows users to record a voice message to be played when the box is opened.

“While technological advancements are key to our industry, so is emotionally connecting with our customers. As such, we are excited to introduce the IGI Love View Box, a successful combination of the two,” said Jerry Ehrenwald, president and CEO of IGI.
