Yerushalmi Brothers Wins 2007 Exporter Award
May 12, 08Israel headquartered Yerushalmi Brothers have won the 2007 Exceptional Exporter Award in the jewelry category from the Israeli ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. This is the second year in a row that the company wins the award.
The DTC Sightholders have recently opened two diamond jewelry concept stores in China, five years after the launch of their Amorosso jewelry brand in the country.
Active in the Chinese market for the past ten years, in 2003, it launched the Amorosso 'Love Commitment' diamond jewelry range, a line of hearts and arrows diamonds. It was the first of its kind – a major diamond jewelry brand being introduced in the Chinese market.
Yerushalmi reportedly ended 2007 with a sharp increase in sales in China, although the company declined to provide specific figures.
In 2007, Yerushalmi exported from Israel polished diamond worth $161 million, rising nearly 9 percent from the year before.
