ICA Gets New President, Board Members

The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) appointed its 2009-2011 board of directors on the last day of the ICA Congress held in Panyu, China earlier this month. The new president is Wilson Yuen of Able Lapidary & Jewelry Ltd from Hong Kong.

Yuen announced his executive board, confirming vice presidents Jean Claude Michelou and Charles Abouchar. Michael Haag was appointed treasurer. Taking over as secretaries are Benjamin Hackman and Clement Sabbagh.

Campbell Bridges was elected to the new board along with Sushil Goyal, Nobuyuki Horiuchi and Phuket Khunaprapakorn.

The ICA Board of Directors is comprised of members from every major gemstone producing country as well as from the consuming countries.
