I.Hennig announced a series of personnel changes. In a letter to clients, the DTC brokerage firm announced that Managing Director Dani Shein has been appointed executive chairman of the company, Arik Sela will take his post as managing director and Eyal Axelrod will succeed Sela as managing director of the Israeli office.
The company also announced the appointment of Jamie Hambro, the younger brother of Hennig's late Chairman Richard Hambro, as a non-executive director of the Hennig board

Axelrod joined Hennig six years ago to assist Sela in the management of the Israeli office. During this time he earned a business management degree.
The 120 years-old firm has expanded its activities throughout the diamond pipeline in the past decade. This has been done both within Hennig, and in companies that fall under the Hennig umbrella such as Diamond Realisations, WDM and Isidor.
Shein, who is signed on the emailed letter, said that in the role of executive chairman he will be focusing on the performance of the Hennig Group. "This necessarily calls for my continued involvement in the day-today Hennig business where I will be available to assist Arik and his team whenever needed," he noted, adding that these management changes coincided with the most severe crisis the diamond industry has witnessed since the 1980s.
