Funeral Service Arrangements for Campbell Bridges

Some of the funeral arrangements for murdered International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) Director, Campbell Bridges, have been announced. A public funeral service is to be held in Kenya. The service is scheduled for August 21, starting at noon at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi.

After a meeting between the Bridges family and ICA members, Susie Kennedy, ICA Ambassador to Kenya, was asked to deliver a eulogy for Campbell. After the service ICA will host a wake nearby for Bridges.  

Bridges was attacked and murdered on August 11, by a mob near his farm in Kenya. Bridges and his son Bruce were attacked following a dispute in the Taita Taveta District in Tsavo National Park in Kenya. It is believed that the attack was connected to a three-year dispute over access and control of Bridges' gemstone mines
