AGS 2010 Conclave to Focus on Revolutionary Business Practices
November 03, 09
The American Gem Society has announced that the dates for the 2010 Conclave, an annual gathering of its prestigious membership, will be April 21-24. The theme this year is “Revolution,” with the keynote and educational programs focused on bold new ways of doing business.
The 2010 Conclave will be held at the Westin Copley Place in Boston. The conference will feature leading keynote speakers, best-practices classes, hands-on workshops, multiple networking opportunities and the Society’s Robert M. Shipley Award Luncheon.
“We’re in a period of great economic change, and that change demands revolutionary new ways of doing business,” said Ruth Batson, executive director and CEO of the Society. “There are more tools at our disposal, and more outlets for communicating and building a brand. The old rules are giving way to new ones. Conclave is seizing the opportunity to make sure that our members are a vital part of this revolution.”
The 2010 Conclave will feature a two-day Supplier Gallery that allows American Gem Society suppliers to display their gems and jewelry. The Gallery will include the Society’s fashion show.
