AGS Conclave to Feature Hands-on Classes
February 23, 10
The American Gem Society (AGS) is offering seven hours of hands-on GIA Lab classes at the AGS Conclave April 21-24 in
Three classes will focus on the different treatment processes used in gemology. A workshop that will test out participants’ gem identification skills will be held, in addition to two photography/visual communication lectures designed to help AGS members sell more jewelry.
"This is a great opportunity not to be found at any trade show," said Ruth Batson, CEO and executive director of AGS. "Our Conclave attendees have access to these GIA classes at no additional cost. This is the value of a revolution: a GIA gemological hands-on experience!”
