AGS Conclave to Feature Hands-on Classes

The American Gem Society (AGS) is offering seven hours of hands-on GIA Lab classes at the AGS Conclave April 21-24 in Boston, the group announced Monday. The lab classes will be in addition to several lectures designed to provide practical tools that are meant to help attendees “revolutionize” their business. 

Three classes will focus on the different treatment processes used in gemology. A workshop that will test out participants’ gem identification skills will be held, in addition to two photography/visual communication lectures designed to help AGS members sell more jewelry.
