Israel to Launch Marketing Campaign at Basel Show
March 09, 11IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar will unveil the new strategic marketing campaign, “Welcome to Israel,” and will launch what it dubbed “a significant Internet interface that will make trading Israeli diamonds simpler and more accessible.”
Avidar said that this year the institute’s marketing strategy would focus on a diversified approach, combining key developments in Internet strategy, addition to trade shows, advertising and PR. He added that IDI would be announcing new developments in its international network later in the year.
The organization will also run the Israel Pavilion at the show, hosting 16 Israeli companies. Many more Israeli companies will be exhibiting at the show, mostly in Hall 3
IDI Chairman Moti Ganz said that the Israeli industry is reaching full recovery after the turbulence of the past several years. “The Israeli Diamond Industry has emerged from the world economic crisis to become stronger and more flexible than before. We have succeeded in developing new markets, as well as deepening ties to existing ones,” he said.
BASELWORLD is the leading European watch, diamond and jewelry trade show. It will take place March 24 – 31.
