Israel Getting Ready JCK Las Vegas Show

May 17, 11 by IDEX Online Staff Reporter

(IDEX Online News) - As the expectations for the November-December holiday season are improving, participation in the important JCK Las Vegas show next month seems to grow in importance. Accordingly, the Israeli diamond industry is planning to arrive at the show with the largest delegation to date – 54 exhibiting firms.

The Israel Diamond Institute’s Israel Diamond Pavilion will cover the largest surface ever and feature 31 exhibitors. An additional 23 Israeli companies are exhibiting in other sections of the show.

The U.S. is Israel’s leading market for polished diamonds and the Israeli industry therefore views the JCK Show with special interest. The U.S. accounts for about 40% of Israel’s net polished exports, $5.8 billion in 2010.

The Israel Diamond Pavilion will be located in the Diamond Plaza Booths B3718-B3759 and B3783-B3789. A mini-site with a full list of Israeli exhibitors can be accessed here. www.israelidiamond.co.il/Exhibition/index.aspx?id=18

As part of a marketing drive to bring buyers to Israel, IDI will be raffling off among a free round-trip ticket to Israel. The marketing campaign, “Welcome to Israel”, seeks to emphasize the advantages of doing business with Israel.

“We are confident in our ability to supply Americans with the diamonds they want,” said IDI Chairman Moti Ganz. IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar added that IDI is pleased with the greater turnout of Israeli companies. “We are confident that it will be a successful show for the Israeli exhibitors.”
