IDI to Honor Varda Shine at Hong Kong Fair

(IDEX Online News) – Varda Shine, CEO of the Diamond Trading Company, will be honored at the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair when she is inducted into the IDI League of Honor.

The award will be presented to Shine at a reception on September 19 at 18:30 at the Asia World-Expo Arena Kitchen.

The IDI League of Honor was established to honor the contribution of heads of state and government ministers to the global diamond industry. However, according to IDI, Shine’s contribution, especially in bringing social change to communities around the world, is such that she is worthy of this recognition.

Some 105 Israeli firms will exhibit in two separate Israel Diamond Pavilions. On September 19, the Israeli Consul General in Hong Kong, Amikam Levy, will attend the opening ceremony of the Fair and will visit the Israeli Diamond Pavilions.

In addition to the exhibitors in the pavilions, there will be 20 Israeli companies showing in separate booths throughout the show.
