(IDEX Online News) – With the aim of attracting increasing the number of U.S. buyers and retailers to the Vicenzaoro shows, a team of representatives are currently in America in a bid to increase awareness about the Italian tradeshows.
The delegation, which is being led by Fiera di Vicenza president Roberto Ditri, includes general manager Corrado Facco and the Vicenzaoro team.
Through its stand at both JA New York and the invitation-only Luxury Privé, which both conclude today (Wednesday) Fiera di Vicenza is hoping to encourage more foreign buyers to take part in the Vicenza shows.
“The American market, with over 300 million consumers, is undeniably of prime importance to Italian gold and jewelry, which is truly much in demand here,” said Ditri.
“Fiera di Vicenza’s strategy not only includes highly potential markets like China, India, Brazil and the Middle East, but also those markets that have traditionally already been pocketed, such as the United States. Fiera di Vicenza is aiming on direct presence in these markets by creating relations and partnerships with Fair organization companies and is also busy making direct contacts with traders and the various players involved in distribution and commercial channels.”
As part of the work of further developing commercial relations between the U.S. and Italy, an Advisory Council of 12 leading American retailers has been set up. They will act as Vicenzaoro brand ambassadors and promote its events within their sphere of influence and among their industrial acquaintances.
Fiera di Vicenza, is already a partner of the JCK Show in Las Vegas, where it organizes the Vicenzaoro Italian Club, a special format for promoting gold and jewelry from Italy.
