Diamond Cutting Class Among Prizes in Kay/Tolkowsky Competition

(IDEX Online News) – Kay Jewelers has partnered with Tolkowsky, the family that invented and perfected the Ideal Cut diamond, to celebrate “Ideal Love” through a video contest. The grand prize includes a European getaway and a Tolkowsky Ideal Cut diamond ring.
To enter, participants must submit a video, no longer than 60 seconds, to the Tolkowsky Ideal Love Contest micro-site describing their "Ideal Love." The videos, should describe the ideal love they share with their special someone and what makes their relationship so unique.
The videos will be judged on creativity, relevance to theme of "Ideal Love" and sincerity. The deadline for submitting videos is October 10.
Five finalists will be chosen, and from November 3, fans will choose the winner by visiting the micro-site to vote for the love story they believe is the most compelling. To encourage fans to vote, participants will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win one of five $100 Kay Jewelers gift cards.
The grand prize winner will receive a romantic European getaway that includes a seven-day, six-night trip for two to Antwerp, Belgium and Paris, France, along with $1,000 in spending money, a guided tour of Paris, including lunch at the Eiffel Tower, a Tolkowsky guided tour and lunch with Gabi and Jean Paul Tolkowsky, a diamond-cutting class where they will begin cutting their Ideal Cut diamond and a $5,000 Tolkowsky Ideal Cut diamond ring.
The four other finalists will receive a pair of Tolkowsky Ideal Cut diamond earrings.
