Fancy Yellow 107-ct Diamond Brooch could Fetch $3.6mOctober 27, 20
(IDEX Online) - A Graff brooch featuring a brilliant-cut 107.46-carat fancy yellow diamond could fetch up to $3.6m as one of the key attractions at a live Christie's auction later this month.
Another fancy yellow diamond, a rectangular step-cut gem weighing 28.88 carats and set in a ring, also has an estimate of up to $3.6m. And a exceptional pair red, white and blue colored diamond earrings could fetch $3.8m.
The Magnificent Jewels live auction takes place in Geneva on 10 November.
More than 60 of the lots being offered are from the estate of philanthropists Mireille and James Levy and proceeds from their sale will continue their charitable legacy.
Among the pieces to be sold from Mireille's collection are a Bulgari emerald and diamond necklace, a Cartier art deco multi-gem 'tutti frutti' bracelet, pair of Harry Winston diamond cluster earrings, and a Van Cleef & Arpels rare ruby and diamond 'mystery-set' necklace.
