Lab Grown Auction to Raise Funds for JFC

August 16, 21 by John Jeffay

(IDEX Online) - Bidding opens today in what's billed as the world's first charity auction of lab grown diamonds.

More than $75,000 of loose stones and lab grown pieces of jewelry are being sold in a joint venture by IGI labs and the Virtual Diamond Boutique (VDB) tech company in aid of the Jewelers for Children charity.

Digital bids are made via VDB's dedicated app (pictured) and close on 29 August at the JFC Facets of Hope dinner during Las Vegas Jewelry Market Week.

"We are delighted that the lab grow diamond community has come together to benefit children," said David Rocha, executive director of JFC.

"We're thrilled to now be able to offer this lab grown diamond event as an option for those who may not be attending market week in Las Vegas."

Bid via the app at vdb.guru/jfc
