15.5-ct Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond Leads Phillips Sale
March 18, 24(IDEX Online) - A 15.51 carat fancy vivid yellow diamond ring leads the Phillips Hong Kong Jewels Auction later this month with an estimate of $950,000 to $1,250,000.
The natural color, VS2 clarity, no-fluorescence brilliant-cut stone (pictured) is mounted in platinum and yellow gold between two triangular-shaped diamonds weighing 1.25 carat in total (F-G color, VS clarity).
Another highlight of the auction, on 28 March, is a 1.38 carat fancy vivid purplish pink diamond (SI2 clarity) in a gold spiraling dome-shaped ring set with circular-cut pink sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds. Estimate $320,000 to $450,000.
Another ring, set with a 2.65 carat pear-shaped VS1 clarity fancy intense orangy pink diamond and two white pear-shaped diamonds has an estimate of $300,000 to $400,000.
