Mouawad's Diamond and Topaz Miss Universe Crown

(IDEX Online) - Mouawad, the exclusive Lebanese jeweler, has unveiled the diamond and topaz crown that will be presented to the winner of Miss Universe 2024 in Thailand next month.
The Starlight Crown, set with 133 white diamonds totaling 7.54 carats, and over 2,500 pieces of white gemstone totaling 176.76 carats, was showcased at a gala dinner ahead of the contest.
The jewelers' first Miss Universe crown, in 2019, boasted over 1,770 white diamonds, including a 62.83-carat shield-cut canary yellow stone at its center.
Last year's, for the USA contest, featured 108.44 carats of blue sapphire and 48.12 carats of white diamond, with a pear-shaped 45.14 carat sapphire as its highlight. It was valued at $5.75m.
Mouawad, founded in 1890 and known as the jeweler to royalty and high society, has partnered with the Miss Universe Organization since 2019.
